Lonesome Jim was an excellent movie produced in 2006 staring Casey Affleck, Liv Tyler, Mary Kay Place, Seymour Cassel, Kevin Corrigan, Jack Rovello, Rachel Strouse, Sarah Strouse, Mark Boone Junior.  Written by James Strouse, Lonesome Jim is about a twenty year old who struggles to find an identity and returns home to his family hometown in Goshen Indiana.

Lonseome Jim (Buscemi) struggles adapting from his New York lifestyle to the traditional pace of middle amaerica.  The rest of his family is equally lost with a brother and his daughters also still living at home.  Depressed and suicidal, Jim predictably meets a nurse.

An excellent cast makes a thoroughly enjoyable movie out of an otherwise b-rated script.
